I am a lover of words. I graduated from college with a linguistics degree emphasizing in English and minored in English Literature. Writing has been my passion my whole life, and I've been blessed with a wife who is willing to take a risk on me and my writing. Now I am doing freelance writing full time. Stories have always come naturally to me, and as I have gotten older, I have expanded my repertoire to non fiction and screenplay writing.

Prior to my leap of faith to become a freelance writer, I have worked in construction, as a tutor, carving custom area rugs, washing Texaco gas stations in Arizona, and many other unusual and usual jobs. Most recently I have worked for the United States Army and served a tour of duty in Iraq. I spent a year there in which I was able to learn about the Muslim religion and the Iraqi culture from the Iraqis themselves. It was a fascinating experience that has changed my life.

I have published articles online for the Utah National Guard Newsletter, and am currently a Contributing Writer here at Suite 101.
